Christmas Theatre at Ropery Hall

Christmas theatre for the young and not-so-young is coming to Barton upon Humber’s Ropery Hall this December. The Sunday before Christmas Eve the Little Blue Monster Company will be performing one of their latest productions, Lily and the Little Snow Bear.

Tickets to see Barton’s Great British Bake Off 2014 winner Nancy Birtwhistle hosting a Christmas Fair in the town’s Ropery Hall have been snapped up like “hot cakes”. Only a limited number of tickets remain for the evening session while all tickets for the day session have now been sold.

Relive the days of film and music hall star George Formby

A one man play about one of this country’s greatest entertainers George Formby comes to Barton upon Humber’s Ropery Hall on Saturday, November 18. Written by and starring Ewan Wardrop, the play premiered to critical acclaim at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe and has since won rave reviews around the country.
