The highlight of the Grand Gardening Day.

Nick Hamilton is the son of Geoff Hamilton who was BBC Gardeners’ World chief presenter for many years. Nick is a garden designer in his own right and owner of Barnsdale Gardens in Rutland.  Well-respected throughout the horticultural world after many years of medals at RHS Chelsea Flower Show Nick and his team struck Chelsea Gold in 2016 for Barnsdale Gardens – Past, Present and Future.

The Grand Gardening Day. From 10am – 4pm

Join us at The Ropewalk for a Grand Gardening Day. Whether you are a novice or have a full set of green fingers there will be something for you. Stalls include Hardy Garden Society, Barton Allotment Society, Roanne Nurseries, Westshore Nursery and Woodland Plants. There will also be garden related art, practical garden essentials, refreshments and talks. So if you are looking to make the best of your garden this summer come along and pick up some tips and more than a few plants!
